Yeah, I'm not into the big bang theory, but I often wonder what it was like when the universe was created. My personal beliefs on the interpretation is that it all was created with a song. Just a theory, but it's an interesting thought.

Hi! You just earned yourself an ODD!
congrats!
An ODD (Oibyrds Daily Devs) is a little extra spotlight I shine on deviations that I think are really impressive and/or they're not getting the attention they deserve. Please see the link below for all details and do keep in mind that if you prefer NOT to be a feature, just shoot me a note and I'll remove you from the list

It reminds me of a thunderstorm. The middle of the picture is really cool especially since it seems brighter than the rest of the image. Quite a familiar looking pattern, that good old Fractal Explorer.

Beautiful image. The white sickle shapes curving towards the center remind me of moon-phases. Love the greyscale in this one.

Thanks, Elly. Actually tried colors, for about two seconds then went back to grayscale.

FE huh?, never used it myself, looks a lot like UF. Nice movement, great detail, love it in black and white

Very similar except it doesn't have all the extras like layers, masking, and mapping. Has a lot to work with even though its only a single layer image.

i still haven't figured out how to use FE, i get frustrated evrytime i use it lol , so i admire what you have done with it

Takes a while to figure things out. I used it more than anything else when I first started doing fractals so it's second nature to me now.

wow, don't even know what to say about that one other than breathtaking... nice reminder that you don't have to have eye-popping colors to sell a fractal

Agreed. Colors are so important to fractal art but nothing gives the depth like black and white.

Thanks, Nick. I tried a few variations of the color but the monochrome really gave me the depth that I was looking for.

hmmm i know nothing of fractal explorer, but in the UF field.. well.. it's really not as good as other stuff you've submitted. a bit too chaotic for my liking.
still, i guess it really does outdoes 98% of the fractals in the galleries. it's a good piece jeff, not your best though.
maybe zooming into some areas might make a difference, or removing a couple of layers from the top to clean it up a bit, or maybe even just resizing the image. but that's me. don't take my word for it.
keep it up man, i really admire your work.
