Description I know this is pretty horrible. D:
I WILL make a better tutorial in the future, but since I'm trying to teach a friend and have tons of other art to finish.. TADA! .. For now.. xD

Explain what's not working.. You mean when you got to set the base over the color it's not showing up?

I set the coloue but when I colour the horse it shows me a light version of black not the colour brown or something else

You have to adjust the opacity of the base layer until it works for you. Also, play around with the settings (ie. Overlay, Multiply, etc).

Great tut so far (I'm working along on a tag xD), but I got caught on one thing- for the shadows/highlights, do you put them on a seperate layer? And, is it a solid 100% colour going on? I have no idea whether mine's going to "work" after changing the base colour, since I used 100% dark grey (the same colour you had as a shadow). Please help.

Correct solid 100% color, but on one layer.
