I soaked mine for five days and it didn't turn out too dull. I think the thing that makes a big difference is the talcum powder.

If the pigtails are detatchable, then maybe you could put them and the base wig in separate bowls and just soak them individually for 5 days, I'm not sure though.

This is really one stupid question, but what's the purpose? Is it because it makes the styling easier and better? I would like to know...

Oooooh stupid me!

Supposed, I wanted it a little shiny, should I let it soak less?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

IArtForAir In reply to mazoku-chan [2013-08-04 04:23:51 +0000 UTC]

No soak it. that makes it easy to style and realistic. Use less Talc powderΒ

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

whaleyousea In reply to yinwa333 [2013-06-08 19:36:11 +0000 UTC]

helps make it less shiny! there was a post going around on tumblr when they just soaked the wig, and there was still a lot of shine to it. the talc helps make it dull vuv

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

amextris In reply to WorldwideWumbologist [2013-04-26 03:23:29 +0000 UTC]

I wouldn't think that fabric softener would completely ruin a wig. And I think if it did, I'd be afraid to use it on my clothes.

Mossippu In reply to WorldwideWumbologist [2013-03-19 17:07:25 +0000 UTC]

InspectorKuzon In reply to luanebulosa [2013-03-16 13:33:16 +0000 UTC]

I believe it is 1 liter of water + 1 cup fabric softener, with the talc and styling product up to your discretion.
