The fabric softener removes the brightness but not entirely.
Talc helps remove excess shine
Many people use it to remove the fat the natural hair if you have not bathed. ah ah ah

can you take the shine out of multiple wigs at once? I have a lot of gross shine on my favourite wigs and I'd like to get them a ll done quickly. Does the fabric sotener make the wigs any more or less comfy to wear?

Alexamadden In reply to SnarkyFreeAndSingle [2013-03-11 20:01:39 +0000 UTC]
of course you can use it in all the wigs you want.
No matter what fiber is (Kanekalon or other).
then are very soft and easier to comb

so I could fill up a bucket with the solution take all my wigs and put them in and 5 days later they are all matte and soft?
How would you recommend doing this for long wigs?

Wait, so can you iron even non-heat resistant wigs after doing this? Or is this just for heat-stylable wigs??
this tutorial is really cool though either way :V

Alexamadden In reply to infernal-hellfire [2013-03-11 15:57:32 +0000 UTC]
You have to try if your wig heat resistant hair iron
my tutorial only teaches you to remove the shine on your wig
All wigs are different. Test on hair to a very low temperature.
And if it does not work I recommend using a fabric as protection between one thing and another.
Thank you very much for asking!!

what about wig fire
the wig i want to use is not heat resistant
but i dont need to style it or anything
id just comb it back out
is that okay?
π: 0 β©: 1
Alexamadden In reply to BukiBun [2013-03-11 15:20:47 +0000 UTC]
of course
I put everything I did with the wig
but all is not necessary
the important is let in the water with a cup of fabric softener and sufficient water for 5 days
then not wash or spin and let it dry in the shade
put a little talcum powder and hairspray and ready!

if you wanted your wig to be shiny still, but not as shiny as before, would you just leave it in the fabric softener for a lesser amount of days?
π: 0 β©: 1
Alexamadden In reply to Vengefulwolf74 [2013-03-11 15:25:17 +0000 UTC]
yeah right!

I've left my kanekalon wigs for a day or three

This looks pretty neat, when soaking it did a lot of hair come out? Or just like the usual wash amount?
π: 0 β©: 1
Alexamadden In reply to Chibi-Rai-Chan [2013-03-08 00:20:19 +0000 UTC]
We must stop the softener in the wig. And dry in the shade / Debemos dejar el suavizante en la peluca y secar en la sombra.
