Jesus. You're fantastic at what you do! This gives me a whole new appreciation for the work that goes into wire wrapping. And I thought polymer clay was tedious! Haha! Very well explained, too!

Beautiful idea making a tutorial, I never thought to hammer my wire to stiffen it. I am all self taught so it's interesting to me to watch other peoples processes. Thanks again for the inspiration.

You're most welcome. I'm completely self-taught too, so I was a little concerned that I'd be all n00b at certain parts of the tutorial... but it seems well-received so far. XD

Pyridoxine In reply to ??? [2011-11-26 23:16:43 +0000 UTC]

Thank you for this!! I've always been so fascinated by your wire wrapping, and would love to try my hand at it. This looks rather complicated for a novice, but you've shown a lot of techniques I wondered about.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AMyriadVice In reply to Pyridoxine [2011-11-27 02:04:54 +0000 UTC]

Well, I would definitely recommend practicing the seperate techniques mentioned, before embarking on this quest. If you need help with a technique, ask.

And you're welcome!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Pyridoxine In reply to AMyriadVice [2011-11-28 14:12:46 +0000 UTC]

I plan to, I've made my own jewelery in the past, and tried wrapping before, but just simple stuff. I'd really like to take a class in it. I will definitely ask if I have any struggles!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AMyriadVice In reply to Pyridoxine [2011-11-28 15:16:04 +0000 UTC]

Good luck, then, with your experiments!
