I have no idea how long time ago I started this tutorial, but nevermind, it's finally done xD Many people asked me how I make eyes look so "glossy", so I thought that it wouldn't hurt to make a tutorial. And if a tutorial then hey, why not a video too?

Yeah I tried looking for the "screen" on the layer tabs and couldn't find anything. I'll try using several layers and see what comes up though.

I'm a traditional (non-digital) artist, and I still learned quite a bit from this. The small details like the deep red in the pupil and the eyelash shadows make this more than introductory material. Thanks for sharing!

I love this! But for me it seems it's for tablets because I use a mouse. I don't think I can do this with a mouse but I hope you create more!

I think it's possible to gain that glossy effect with a mouse, because you just need to you an airbrush to erase the white, and it doesn't require any pressure control. It would even work better with a gradient on a mask. But generally for pure digital painting tablet unfortunately is a must :<
