This was inspired by the miniseries of Arabian Nights--I recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I really like this. The veil must have been difficult I bet?
The background reminds me of some pics of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

We just learned about the Hanging Gardens in my World History class. It was pretty interesting.

First off, I have to say that this piece is absolutely incredible. The blend of digital art with the photo in the background is flawless, and the coloring is beautiful. The shading, especially on the woman's skin, is possibly the best I've seen. Her arms and hands seem a little awkward, though. It's as if her elbows are a bit out of place; her forearms also seem rather long, and her thumb is a little wide at the base.
That said, this is one of your best drawings. Keep up the awesome work!

Omigosh, the arms and hands! Don't get me started on how many problems I have with hand anatomy--I appreciate the crit on that especially... I want to take a life drawing class so badly. You'll notice in most of my drawings the hands are partially hidden/not visible.
