Here is an animated ExplorerFrame for Windows 7 (32bit and 64 bit) i made ..It works perfectly with Windows 7 SP1 too just replace those files:
For 32 and 64 bit bit users :
1. Take ownership of the old file, rename it to explorerframe.dll.bak and replace it with the new file
2. Replace the old file in system32 folder of the windows directory
Previewing the Animations - Two options are available :
1. Run Task Manager, Stop the Windows Explorer process, make a new task, write "Explorer" and hit "Enter" OR
2. Go to the Start Menu, Run Command and write "TSKILL EXPLORER" without the "" and hit Enter. It will restart windows explorer.
Animations can be seen on:
- Windows Explorer Icons (any preview type selected it has a different animation style)
- Shell Texts
- Start Menu Search Box (found items fall from the top of the start menu everytime you are making a search)

As you prefer man!! Yea you need to have properly named the files in order to use the way i said. For photos i use picasa. I personally enjoy this software, especially the photoviewer. But everyone works differently.
Alpha effect on explorerframe is not fading as you expect like it works on shellstyle. The code is also different and in order to be more noticable i may have to work more on it's speed but again the result won't be the same. It's not smooth so the others are far better than the alpha. I know RajTheeban95 who created this effect for shellstyle and we talked on the past. His code is different and it doesnt work for explorerframe.
There are actually some different ways to approach this trick. I also saw some software that came out doing this thing that after got discontinued. Obviously i contacted them and discovered that their code and way of making the effects is an automated process by just changing your explorerframe with a file that already has imported the different animations with their different speeds. Their coding though is different and i never released files with different speeds. I checked the source code and they just use a different approach than mine.
Microsoft recently screwed everything by just converting all the file for windows 8 to a binary code. If you see it how it is it's just a mess. There is no way to add inside their any sophisticated mods. It doesnt worth it.

Hell no... I can't even add animation to shellstyle.dll, because it's modified by Panda X e_e. The order of items is changed, so I can't follow any tutorial.

thats pretty cool, didnt mean to nit pick or anything like that, its really nice work, like i said sometimes when it didnt do that thing, it was really awesome, im also a big linux fan but windows is more convenient at the moment, and these kinds of mods make me feel like im open source in windows,lol but yeah keep up the good work dude

this is what i used for the rectanglev.."rectanglev|exp|fast" its almost the same with rectangle..its a bit different but it still has that annoying animation over animation on the details preview while you scroll between the items..rectangleh i think its better..i havent tried your code..

yeapp..actually fast animations are cool and like WOW..but are not something to use everyday..if its fast its too annoying and you lose on usability..feedback showed that rectangle and position animations are very ok for such use..maybe the horizontal rectangle too..

Rofl...where's the tutorial on how to modify your own ExplorerFrame? I'm already using a custom one for a theme. I'm not replacing it with one for default Windows and don't have the patience to send you the file for you to do it yourself whenever you get around to it.

Look buddy..first of all if you dont have the little patience that needs to make this thing to work properly then im sure you wont have the patience to learn how to do it..this is not an easy change like navigation and caption buttons using 3rd party programs..its a change on the UI code that depends on what other modifications you have done to your explorerframe and how..meaning you replaced only the explorerframe.dll manually or you are using a complete theme that installs through a setup that requires a restart after?same for the uninstall..these are 2 different things and of course can risk your computer and your windows explorer to crash..some themes that are installed through a setup are using many system files and are not allowing manual changes on the code after..also you cant take ownership on all of them while the pc works because we talk for many files..so its not something i can show to anyone how to do it..if you still want to learn the how to then i can offer you some lessons..a wise way to work with this is to use the default one i give you here and after make any manual change you want..all the other changes are easier since they are using 3rd party programs to make just image replacements..

I have the patience to do it myself if there was a tutorial on how to make the changes. What I was referring to was sending you the file and possibly not hearing from you for a week while you do it whenever you feel like it. I'll lose interest at that point. The one I'm using now was modified with just images for the address bar and navigation buttons. From what I see, there aren't many other changes.
However, if you can do it with the modified one that I'm already using it, you're welcome to take a look at it. I'd like to see how well this will work and don't know why Microsoft wouldn't enable this in the first place or at least make it an option in Folder Options.
Here they are. I rar'd up the System32 and SysWOW64 as I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64.

Sorry for the comment before. I know how Windows works with taking ownership of files and how the slightest thing can mess everything up. I've modded a few files on here before, just never even heard of anything like this and really interested to see how it works.

no mate there wasnt such possibility..i ll edit now the files and i ll send them to you dont worry..im always here for any help..actually this is the proper way because if you mess with this your explorer would crash..or not..it depends..but im not on a place to know each different case and every modification so i give the default file..yes its truth such thing doesnt exist..im editing the code..same for windows 8 but on windows 8 the process to make it work its a bit different because microsoft changed the way task manager handles processes..anyway..thanks for the files..i ll work on them right away. Its ok with your comment i dont missunderstand i just want this to work.. have also in mind that this works for different previews and works also for your start menu searched items..

Works like a charm. Using the position one. Got it copied over and restarted Explorer. Working just how it should. Didn't think you'd get it done that quick either. Navigation buttons and the rest looks just like they did before.

Yep. I've got that file saved along with a backup of the one I used before having it modded it with this just in case something ever happens. I don't use a lot of crap on my computer that messes with Explorer so I don't have to worry about that. This thing will work for as long as I have Windows 7 on here.
