Perfect timing, colours and contrast/clarity. The small labyrinth of insect carvings on the log and the tiny yellow leaves are quite something..

The water looks almost surreal, like flowing silver, yet lighter than that. Excellent. *Fave*

Hey dude!
This is a really great shot..the water looks amazing, but it is common knowledge that your flowing water looks good also a very nice detail with the marks on the log in this capture!

I'm going to run out of things to say soon, so I hope you don't mind if my comment quality drops a slight bit. hehe.
This one has a downwards motion... which really sounded stupid saying that since you've obviously focussed downwards on the log and surrounding rocks and water, but what I mean is, the water has a downhill look to it. Very waterfallish like. I find that I don't really like the bit of log sticking out from the lefthand side. It's a bit... I don't know... it's out of place. Not in the sense that it's not meant to be there, just that it doesn't suit being there and takes the focus off the main log across the water.
When I look at this, I think of life. I'll try to explain what I mean. In life we come to many crossings, some of which we cross, some we have difficulty crossing and some we just never cross, perhaps because we're not meant to. It kind of represents that for me. The log represents the way across the road, the problem. It's all about trial and error. If you're not careful crossing the log, you're going to slip and hurt yourself [and even get a bit wet in all of the action]. So, do we take the risk of falling and hurting ourselves? Of course we do! That's what this shot makes me think. Thank you

Why are you so amazing? I mean really.
This seems very fitting for the month of October, with the orange and yellow leafs scattered about. Definitely has an autumn look to it.
And of course the water is gorgeous and of course I love it (don't I always? ) The movement is just so lovely, soft looking and flowing perfectly under the arrangement of logs.
You have such a way of capturing the beauty of nature...every little thing, to the most simple logs and water. You make us see it for what it really is.

Thank you very much for such a nice comment. I was really trying to get a feeling of autumn in this picture, I knew that I could just take a picture of trees covered in yellow leaves, but I thought that this was a little less cliche and a lot more fun
