I LOVE this, I just moved out of Alaska, and this captures the lights so well, it's simply breath taking. The lights give you a feeling that you can not describe, thank you for posting this.

Gorgeous shot! I graduated high school up in Barrow, AK and fondly remember how incredible the Northern Lights were that winter. A dancing, opalescent ribbon dancing above us, so vivid on the few clear nights we had that they almost seemed close enough to touch. I really miss that being back down in the Lower 48, but hope someday to take my family to see them. This is a great view in the interim though - well done!

Very nice capture. I wish I didnt have to work so early or I would have been out there myself. I like this one the best, for the detail in the mountains. Simply stunning.

I know exactly what you mean. I normally have to get up at 4am for work, so I miss all the good Northern Lights. Sunday night was supposed to be a lot better then these ones, but I was at home sleeping, of course .

Beautiful photo I wish we didn't have clouds. It's been like that for a few days and will continue for a couple days more, most likely. Just when I found good settings for camera it's been cloudy every time there have been auroras

cropped, bordered, sharpened, and a slightly adjusted the hues. The long exposure on the Northern Lights is what gives it that unreal manipulated look.
