Hoe to delete parts of a model in PMD editormodel: Meiko (I think she is Animasa but I am not sure, please tell me if you know the answer)

What about the bones that the deleted part(s) left? Let's say umm,I delete the hair and I want to load a new hair,will anything go wrong?

Mabye you know how to deleteΒ a specific part....well...For exmpl. I want to delete the torso and I select it in the tab, but it selects the whole body, how can I delete just the torso?

You select only the torso.
Then right click the layer that you selected.
Than Ctrl S.
And then that's a layer separate from the other bodyΒ parts ^^
The layer would be called Nw meaning new, so that's your torso, then ^^
Hope it wasn't too hard , I can't explain XD
If you don't get to, you should look up on da for some tutorials, I'm horrible at giving advice XD

Hmmm, i know this way for long, i know how to delete bone and psychic too
but do you know a way how to delete one part with out deleting all?
like i wanna edit SeeU i put some gloves, i wanna delete the hand but if i do like up,
it means i deleteher head and legs too, you know how to solve it?

it's simple, just choose the bone you want to delete then delete it using delete button, if this not work go to the Bone ( BON ) section then search one by one until you found the bone that you want to delete, change from: Ro, RoMov, IK, IKinfrot, InfRo, and etc into Hid
( hidden ), sorry if it's a little confusing, i should upload image, but i dunno how -_-
and sorry for late reply, my laptop on service so right now i'm in internet cafe, i almost out in deviant for 2 weeks or more >A<

Now I just have to figure out how to delete /parts/ of the clothes... like the sleeve or something...

So i open "Vert/Material", Select the "MA" bubble, select my part, select over it by making a box, right click the selected part inside my checklist box, then click [Ctrl+P], then yes?

I think you don't have to select over it by dragging your mouse and making a box. Just select "Vert/Material", click on the "MA" bubble, select your desired part from the list of "MA..." parts below, select "Edit", and choose the "Select All" button. After your part is all selected, right-click the checklist box and click on "Ctrl+P". It's actually very easy, right?

I think this method works for all parts of the model, like eyes, clothes, hair, etc.

=u= I want to only delete ONE part of the body, but the only way to select the body is by selecting it all...?
