How do you delete things that are attached?
Like on the Rin model her hair and belt loopy thing are on the same thing, I just want her hair, how do I delete the belt loopy thing?

There is a tutorial on this in the MMD academy but nothing is organized there. :/ So... there are two ways to do that you can either shrink the belt to no existence but that may cause problems. That is why there is a second way select the 1 layer that you want to delete something from from -> select what you want to delete -> right click on the layer -> click on the third option from the top (S or Ctrl+S) -> click 'OK' -> now you see that below the layer you selected there is a layer without a number -> de-select the layer you separated the the new layer -> select the new layer -> delete the new layer -> do what ever else you wanted to do with the model.
I hope this helps I am not that good of enxplainer when I am sick and have a headache. xD
