I give up. I can't manage to fix the problem. I dunno if it's just my PC or what. It doesn't scroll smoothly when viewed on Windows Picture Viewer.
If you download this, tell me if it's working fine. If it does, well that's a relief...in some ways though. xD If not, then just read it here. Sorry... I totally screwed up on this. It's my first time to make a tutorial. 
If you have any questions regarding the tutorial, feel free to ask. Just don't ask me how to use pen tool or ask for money to buy a tablet.

I had a few questions since I'm a major photoshop noob...
While I HAVE stumbled upon a few things and been able to muck about through it for the most part, I still take too long to color things and started just figuring things out like what you're describing for the flat colors.
As I said, I just had a few questions on how you got to certain points...
I'm unclear as to how to merge the layers...(yeah, I know, I told you I was a noob at this
How do you choose the foreground color?
hmmm...actually, those are my only 2 questions...
Everything else made sense to me and I have to admit, yours is the best coloring tutorial I've come across yet!!

Malaki yung original size nun. 1200 x 1800 pixels po yun. Niresize ko lang dun sa tutorial.
