Description Another go at this style ...

The inspiration was the arch in the bottom right corner - from the South Door of Avebury Church ... and from there things just grew ... the lancet windows appear in the work too ...

Again around 10 or 12 hours work. A little smaller than A4 in size. Worked using a 0.25mm Rotring Isograph pen with black ink.

Thank you I'm glad you like. Not sure my art's ever been described as 'inspiring' before . I love detail, and find it fascinating to add ... but not in all my art!

WOW. i have never tried to use rotring technic pen for drawing, just for trecing school work.

My first Rotring pen was bought for me by my older sister for my 14th birthday and it was used for diagrams/illustrations in my school work/science work. I've never been without one, though years may pass when I don't use one ... but not any more! My old isograph pens still work, but are messy to clean/refil so I treated myself to a set of rapidograph pens and though they're not as environmentally friendly in that they use cartridges, hopefully they'll save a huge amount of water!

Try using it for drawing ... it's less messy than a dippy-ink pen, and much more controllable, though the trade off is that it can seem a bit too 'clinical' or precise.
