Description Camera: Canon EOS 350D
Lens: Canon Macro Lens EF 100mm f/2.8 USM
Flash: Canon Speedlite 430EX
Realisation: In my kitchen, white plate, different colored things inside and blue and pinks pearls on it, one hot light, one cold light,
foil blanket and several crushed metal papers of different colors for background and bokeh

Nice tutorial I think I'll need to search somewhere for colored pearls and colored foil, which we don't have here right now, but I got all summer
I have the same lens and a 450D so I think I should be fine trying it out with the normal flash, I unfortunately don't own another flash yet. What kind of aperture and shutterspeed do you mostly use?

Super tutoriel, cela donne de bons conseils et des idées. Je voulais justement commencer à travailler sur les gouttes d'eau qui tombent dans une surface d'eau, et tu donnes vraiment de très très bons conseils, merci à toi pour ce très bon travail .

Pas de soucis, je suis actuellement en train de m'équiper en multiflash (je vais d'ailleurs faire un journal dessus bientôt) et j'avais justement l'intention de tester tout ça sur un projet de goutte . Merci encore pour ton aide et tes commentaires .

I tryed it out, and it went kinda well i hope It was loads of fun! I used color in the water (the kind you use to put color to food and stuff you bake). Thanx a lot for tutorial!

Oh yes! If you want to catch the approximative same results, you will not do without it. I went by myslef to this conclusion five years ago, after have try without one... Not for a long time, believe me, and when this macro lens arrived at home, my perception totally changed

Et moi qui ai pensé qu'on puisse faire ce type de photos sans flash! Quand mon 580EX arrivera, les gouttes en macro seront les premières photos à prendre.
