A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for TF: CYBERTRON Crumplezone downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]Was trying to think of possible repaints for Crumplezone and Apeface was the ONLY one I could come up with. I debated which version of the mold would be better, this or Dark Crumplezone. While Dark CZ has a much more jet-like vehicle mode, I think this repaint looks better, in both modes, on this mold. Oh, And I see this guy coming from the Jungle Planet. Instead of a robot/beast mode, he has a vehicle/robotic beast mode. Hey, it can work. Who says the Jungle Planet has to be inhabited by JUST earthen animal tf’s

Interresting concept. Would have never thought of it myself, seeing as I usually homage a old character with a new mold that has some semblance of a similar alt mode (Cybertron Waspy being an exception, like a couple others I don't remember right now.) But I agree that the robot mode looks alot more ape-like than your average TF's robot mode.
So... This mean we'll eventually see an Optimus Primal repaint of Cybertron Crumplezone?

when ya think about it, it's quite possible that Crumplezone has a more convincing ape mode then apeface ever did, hehe. or at least AS convincing. (*had apeface. Would barelly even count his apemode AS an ape mode*)
As for primal...I dunno. I hate him, hehe. (Though thinking about it, Crumplezone's bot, car, and powered-up-car-into-almost-a-plane, all share a stiking resemblence to Optimal Optimus's modes...)
