Description A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for the Armada Space Mini-Con Team downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]

The Reflector Mini-Con Team. From left to right, Spectro, Spyglass & Viewfinder. Combine to make the Reflector Cannon.

Back when I did the G1 “Mail Away Exclusives” as Mini-Con sets (The Powerdasher trio as random MinCons and the Omnibots as the Street Speed Mini-Con Team) I got the idea to do the Reflector trio as the Requiem Blaster. I did a few base colors and wasn’t completely happy with it, and it quickly got pushed aside for other projects. Well, I finished it up. I’m pretty happy with it now, though I think I should have used a more bluish purple then the purple I used for Viewfinder. Coloring it this way though DOES distinguish the 3 of them from each other though.

Artwork is © Hasbro, only colored by me (and halfassed at that) in plain ol' MS paint.

For some reason Viewfinder makes me think of Energon Shockblast... Personaly, I never would have thought about using the Reflector components in this fashion, using the toy colors to differenciate them from the next. (I would have just used the same basic colors as the show versions and stuck the entire thing in blushing purple and grey. ) Seriously tho', I really like these guys even considering the fact that Spectro and Spyglass have kinda loud base colors.

Well, the original g1 ones had the same "base" colors, they just had a lot of the shared secondary colors (Black, chrome and dark silver) to break it up and give them a much more toned down, uniform look. Since the minicons all have one main color each, and just a very few bits of shared minor colors, they look much more loud, like ya said. D'ah well.

And yer right, Vierfinder does kinda look like shockblast, heh.

i'm betting you'll call 'em the reflector blaster. Or maybe the Decimation Refector Gun (a bit long) what about Reflector Decimater? That sounds good what do you think?
