A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Armada Sideswipe downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]Runabout. I did this one a long time ago, but just didn’t think it was as good as I wanted it. The vehicle mode ROCKS (Hey, it’s Scourge colored, sue me) but the robot mode is just kinda weak. I think one of the reasons for this is because I tried to incorporate the white so I could make the Minicon partner Runamuck. This probably would have never seen the light of day, but since Takara is releasing the repaint/remold of this mold in Galaxy Force as a much BETTER Runabout (though his vehicle mode reeks of Stepper/Richochet), I thought, might as well get my inferior one out of the way and off my damn hard drive, heh. So…here it is.
As I said, Minicon is Runamuck.

Funny that you day that the Mini-Con is Runamuck 'cuz I keep looking at Runabout and can't help but think that somehow both where merged together for some reason.

What? you mean...a repain that's actually BETTER then my SPECTACULAR Biab Barricade repaint?! Impossible I say! And yeah, it does seem like the 2 of them merged at some point, but thats the only way i could make his minicon "Runamuck" colored. If i had to start all over, i think I know what I'd do differently, but i wasn't willing to put even MORE work into a crappy "cancled" repaint of mine, hehe. I'll just give up and buy the Cybertron Runabout/Stepper version, hehe. And then i'll feel a little dirty for actually being foolish enough to give hasbro another $10 of my money for that stupid mold again...

If they ever put the fig out in North America you mean? I myself am planning to import both sets over when they're finaly released. Don't really care about that Hoist/Longrack one, but the others look so nice I don't really mind. Heh heh.

Heh, my thoughts exactly. That Hoist one is just sub par. they definitly should have remolded the wheeljack mold instead. Some nice homages could have been made with that bad boy. But as you said, the others are so good, that it would be worth it in the long run, even with the lame one, hehe.

Those colors do rock on the Sideswipe mold.... o'course they rock on almost anything, I'm starting to believe. I always liked these two characters. There was an issue of Marvel's G1 comic where they arrived on Earth and started vandalizing things. They were disappointed at first cuz the humans just looked at thier work with confused expressions, not realizing that we can't read binary code, or Cybertron script, or whatever they called it. So, they learned to spray paint in english and wrote "Humanz R Dum" and stuff like that. Classic.

Yeah, those two were cool. Only thing I didn't like was they were never portrayed as the actual raving psychopaths that their bios and profiles always said they were. these two were freaking nuts and evil. *Sigh* maybe someday...
And yes, the Black & crimson colorscheme is the best in all Transformerdom, hehe

Yeah, this mold is pretty suck-tacular. Still though, i keep repainting the damned thing. D'ah well. Thanks for the comment and i'm glad ya liked it.
