I think a Ninja/Unicorn team-up would be ultra bad-ass. The style I painted this in was inspired by Samurai Jack, one of the coolest cartoons ever. I struggled to make this one work, but it does.... I think?Unicorns are definitely due for a comeback. Expect more unicorn artwork in the future!

Haha looks fantastic Rudy! I especially like the ninja; he's all mysterious and shadow-y, exactly like he should be. Just curious, what inspires you to paint these? Books, comics, excess amounts of caffeine and a lack of sleep? Hahaha needless to say, works great for you. Keep up the awesome work buddy!

I get inspired by pretty much everything: music, books, movies, emotions, people, other people's artwork, etc.
The hard part is finding an idea that makes a good painting. There are so many pieces I've finished with two or three paintings underneath the finished piece. It's crazy! Finding inspiration has been a little tough lately though. I love painting robots and cartoon characters and really crazy sci-fi fantasy stuff, but I don't really want to see repetition in my work. Plus I get lazy and just don't try hard enough sometimes. Oh well!
