Description Galactic Pathways

A colossal jetting spiral galaxy (a quasar) dominates a multi-galaxy filled sky as it rises above the horizon of a moon orbiting a ringed "super-earth" exo-galactic-planet. An array of satellite galaxies (spiral, elliptical, barred, globular, and irregular) creates a starry backdrop along with myriad other stellar companions. Such "Galactic Pathways" beckon intergalactic travelers across the Cosmos to boldly go where only imaginative minds dare go . . .

Extended descriptor: The depicted galaxy is actually a super-quasar or bipolar jetting galaxy. Quasars are extragalactic phenomena emitting immense amounts of energy in the form of light, infrared radiation, etc, from a super massive/dense source. This energy source is a super-massive black hole located in the centre of the galaxy.

I believe that digital mountain you speak of is meerly a back drop in a series of movements. Traditional art is the foundation of all creation. The creative process starts in the subconcious and is cleaned through the brainwashed minds of the sane. The more one uses the filter of society to wash the creation, the the less colorful the cloth. What happens when the storms surge on the sun? What happens when the machines are scorched by the upcomming EMP? When the chaos calms and the survivors rejoice, the ones with the skills of the traditional ways will beautify the Earth once again.

NO,No thank you. I love it when something gets my mind going. I've been counter-productive for years and with years of sobriety and an engagement for marrige, I'm just starting to pull myself out. My artistic maturity and hand control aren't where I'd like them to be (and I don't believe they ever will be.) Keep an eye on me. You may see a metemorphasis.

I appreciate your comment . . . Yes, I expended an enormous amount of time over the course of the past year as I worked on this and several other paintings during those months. . . . I never keep track of the exact number of hours however, I am confident I have well over 200 hours in this painting. I never consider it a labor, quite the opposite, in fact. For when I paint, I am oblivious to time, hours seem like mere minutes as I immerse myself in the mysteries of the Cosmos and the pleasures of creating physical representations of conceptual art.
