This was a legitimate pain in the ass. I hope you appreciate it!This is a VERY VERY LONG TUTORIAL. If you click the DOWNLOAD button, you'll download a 3mg pdf file that is over 100pages long.

This tutorial covers low-poly for real-time Modeling, Smoothing Groups, UV Unwrapping, Texture Creation of Face, Clothing, and Hands, and creation of Hair.
I take a character from start to finish and explain pretty much every single step.

Ooh my, this will come in very handy. I wish I had this for college last year, because.. well, 3DsMax's tutorials? Yeah, they were confusing. XD

This is a really well done tutorial and covers a lot of stuff that I had to learnd through trials and errors. With minor exceptions, we have very similar workflow. This is the best tutorial for low poly characters I've seen so far.

Excellent! I was just poking around the internet for low poly modeling tutorials; I have to make a few characters for unreal tournament within the next few weeks, and this should help a lot

Haha, well my minor's in concept art for games so it's more illustration-heavy, but I do have to learn some 3D, too. It is hard. I thought I was set after learning photoshop, boy was I wrong. lol

lol Nah. I've never posted any of my 3D stuff on DA before, and I lost some of the files for my old 3D projects, now. When my last laptop died, it took some of my files with it.

i just uploaded a sad attempt of my final if ud like to see. i need soo much time. the movie...three secs of just a lil rotate in the room? that render took me like 8 hours, and i used like five computers LOL
