Height: 1,60m (5'24")
Weight: 67 kg (147,7 lbs)

Entry:
During the day, it opens its leaves wide under the sun to gather as much sunlight as possible, which it then converts into electricity, its main power source, and during the night, it plugs itself into the ground to rest. Its face can light up like a lantern, and it seems to communicate with others of its species by flashing it in a pattern similar to morse code. Long ago, sailors knew how to recognize their lights from far away at sea to guide themselves.

Based on a lightbulb, and on the imperial palm , or at least it's evolution is, for now it's just a palm tree sapling.

I had plans for a new palm tree fakemon ever since I started the Tupama dex, with the intend on basing it on the imperial palm... Buuuuut then Sun and Moon revealed to us the glory of Alolan Exeggutor.
Since I was late to the party, and obvious comparisons were going to be made, I considered on discarding the design in favor of simply putting Alolan Exeggutor in the Tupama dex, but since we're still unsure of what's going to happen to the regional forms when Gen 8 comes around, I decided to not risk it by putting it in, and I still wanted to try my hands at creating a new one, so I went back to the drawing board to try to create a unique concept for a palm tree pokemon. I may just be posting it now, put this evo line is actually one of the oldest ideas I had in mind for the region. I'm actually quite fond of it, especially of its evolution for some reason. No, it doesn't evolve into a a street light... But maybe something along those lines instead?

Well, I guess that's it for now. Sorry for the lack of updates recently, I'm really not that motivated to do much of anything lately, I pretty much had to force myself to draw to post this, I'm prefering to focus on some commissions I still have to finish, and to top it all off, college has just started again... Oh boy.
I already have its evolution done on paper, along with some other fakemons, it's just a matter of digitizing all of them. I'll try to draw something for a myth post as well, I'm getting quite bothered with the infrequency of those these days... And to think those were almost weekly a long time ago.
