wow! your so talented! the sepia outlines really accented the picture and sort of gave it a traditional or vintage look ^^ why not try colouring with the base skin colour (E00) in a small, circular motion? i hear it really helps blend the other tones well if you have an even base tone in the beginning. then that means your taking advantage of the copic's non-streaky ability! but yeah, youve done a brilliant job, I hope you could do a collab with me sometime

Can you acheive similar skin tones/effects with only prisma colors? I don't have any copics ^^"

really helpful! I always find that looking at pictures with copic marker, the skin tones look a lot better than when they only use prismacolors. that has to be my only complaint for the markers is that I can't get the skin to look right. for some reason I kept refusing the idea of using copics for skin tone and prismacolor for everything else.... would've made a lot more sense....

omg i know T__T prisma still doesnt have a good pale colour for skin, tho i have used brick beige for skin before, it turns out like this: [link]
and it works pretty decently, but not if i want someone with paler skin :/

exactly. It's hard to find a right color. Plus in most stores the variety is very limited so I have to order most of my colors from online. The worst part of it is that the colors never look the same on paper compared to the colors they give you online

You have serious talent. I saw the pic with the progression of your skills, and then the finished picture of this and I am floored. I've never seen anyone show that, never. I think it is fascinating to actually be able to look back through the years and see how good you've become. Great work, and I can't wait to see more!

a black inking pen instead of a brown one c: and then use darker markers overall for the colour
