Uhhh. I don't really know where I was going with this one, to be honest. Hence I kinda just gave up, and decided that I'll make icons out of it, which it will look better as. I just like drawing Jolyn's characters 8BGravity belongs to .

I donβt really know anything about Silverwingβs character Gravity, but from what youβve portrayed, I get the impression of an angel-like being. Thereβs something about his pleasant smile, pristine features and mostly the glow of the aura around him that emanates a sense of heaven and possible benevolence. The background was excellently chosen for this piece, not just because it was fitting for the idea of the character, but also because the colors of the clouds and sky compliment the color theme of Gravityβs tones as well. I also found the title fitting for the clouds that βspiral outβ from the center.
Thatβs a really magnificent piece, despite what you say in your description. Very well done.

Thanks Gan! I think you're one of the few people who noticed the spiral pattern of the clouds. It came out less apparent than I wanted it too, but glad that some picked up on it!

I can't even describe to you how floored I am with this. I had no clue you'd actually draw him, and so soon! And so very, very perfectly.
First I must say I'm sorry for not commenting sooner, I wasn't feeling well yesterday and wasn't online any.
Oknowthen. OMGGRAVITY!!!
While I love all my characters, getting a gift of Gravity really lifts my spirits because of who he is, if that makes any sense.. and well, no one ever really draws him, so the fact that you like him so much makes me smile.
What I noticed the most at first was how very godlike he looks. He looks so etheral, so powerful yet so gentle.
His eyes are stunning. They realism and detail you put into them is just breathtaking! I don't know how you did it! I really like that instead of where the white is you have the darker shade of pink... plus, the lining of his eyes and such is that darker pink. It really makes his eyes just leap out at you!
His eyebrows are so pretty too, I like that you used silver to make the dots!
And oh god onto his freaking MOUTH. HOW DID YOU DO THAT? The detail on his muzzle makes my head spin. That nose is so 3D and realistic and I just love the bit of dappling it has... and I don't know what it's called, but that area between his nose and lips being a pale pink like those areas is a great touch. His expression is so perfect...
I love his whole face shape, it's very collie like! The ears are so cute, and I like the bit of wrinkles in his forehead above his eye... it captures a bit of his age to me which is perfect. Oh and his collarbone is so lovely!
Plus, I really like that you shaded him with a shade of pale pink instead of just grey... it seriously just makes him glow and look so very soft.
The background is wonderful as well, like he's floating in the sky, and I adore the glow around him! Again, he just looks so GODLY.
I can't thank you enough for this Liz. You make my characters come to life in a way I can't... much love!

Ehehe, I'm so glad you liiike! See, this is why I enjoy doing art for you and Caishy and a few others... I always get ESSAYS in response which I love to devour 8) You notice all the tiny little details which I figure no one would pick up on.
But yes! I actually plan to do a bigger, full-body picture of him once all of my December art deadlines go away, and I have some real time. I wanted this one to be full-body but it just wasn't working, but not worth trashing, so! Take two will happen eventually XD
And ahaha, yes. I wasn't sure if his eyebrows were markings or actual piercings so I went with kind of an intermediate. Hope it's okay.

The background clouds were actually supposed to be in a spiral shape, though it became less obvious when I toned them down a bunch x_x;
