I've been drawing - a lot of kaiju lately.

Just one of several redraws/redesigns that I've been working on. Once I've finished I might go into more explanation on them all.

MINOR NOTE: This is actually an OC creation of mine. It is a kaiju, but it is completely original and based on my own ideas. I may have more to show off of this one in particular at a later date.

Based, of course, mostly on the black rain frog, of Internet meme fame, but taken 10000000% seriously by me in my kaiju creation, lol.

This is my most recent sketch (it's done in my new non-photo blue lead, which I love), which mostly only exists so I could see if I could improve on his design some...in this case, it was just giving him more frowny faces. Frogs (most animals, I think, though don't quote me on that) don't have the emotive brow-line that humans have, so this is anatomically incorrect, but hilarious to me. I also wanted to see what a side-by-side with a traditional Godzilla suit might look like, and that cracks me up even more. Godzilla versus a giant dumpling ball of a kaiju. That kills me. I absolutely would watch that movie, though.

I also like how angry he is while he's jumping. Imagine a million ton frog falling from the sky with that look on its face. Just before it flattens your apartment complex.
