Description
[WARNING: HUGE FILE! DOWNLOAD or FULLVIEW for best results!]Been wanting to make some tutorials for a while now, and since I'm starting to learn things that might be helpful to others, I figured I'd share my knowledge.
But keep in mind, I'm still learning myself, so I will try and answer any questions you have about the tutorial itself. I am not an expert and do not claim to
be one. If you're having full-blown tech issues with XPS, then consider consulting *XNAaraL for help, as he is the one who built the program off of Dusan's
XNALara. Otherwise, I will try to help any way I can. :]
Also, I apologize if it seems like I'm taking the Mesh Modding For Dummies approach. :] I'm just trying to be as detailed as possible and give reasons why you're doing the things you're doing to help you better understand and learn.
Note: Other MeshModding tasks, such as adding legs, a torso, head, etc. work basically the same.

Thank you very much for this!!
I was searching for a good meshmod tutorial since I am really bad with Blender. Usually I use Milkshape for attaching hair and hair, but the parts loose their bones everytime.. so this is really helpful!!
I guess you can do the same thing not only with hair but with other parts too (bodies and such)?

For me, Blender = head explosion, so I feel your pain. :] Good! I'm glad oyu find it helpful. Yes, other parts can be attached just like hair. Sometimes there are a few subtle differences, especially when attaching legs, but it's basically the same idea. ^^ I'm planning more tutorials, so I'll lay it all out for you soon. :]

That's great! Thank you so much!
I wanted to make a couple of oc characters attaching a head to a body and using other hair, but without using Blender and with the bones loss in Milkshape... blah.
So I'll keep an eye on your gallery thanks again
ps: "blender = head explosion" I lol'd XD

Thanks. :] That's a great compliment coming from you. Yeah, XNAaraL's tutorials are a great help (they are what got me started in XPS) but some things do get a bit lost in translation, and since he knows exactly what he's doing, he tends to gloss over the simple things that former noobs like me wouldn't understand. :] But still, a link to the tutorials that helped me is an offering of gratitude and respect more than anything.
By models with bones, do you mean a tutorial showing how to combine a torso of one model to the legs of another and stuff like that?
