Description
This was a request byThis was for an OC of the requester, who's title was "The Inferno Alchemist". The function of these circles are exactly the same, one is just a variation of the other. Aforementioned function, is to either dry out a substance, and heat it to the point where it will burst into flames, or to freeze the moisture in a substance.
The first Array, is the actual request, which is a modified version of Roy Mustang's circle from Fullmetal Alchemist., replacing the fire symbol with a symbol for wind, that represent the cold north wind for the freezing process, and replacing the salamander with a cactus to represent a dry climate, for the drying out of a substance, and the raising of temperature.
The second Array, while it carries out the same function, is my original design. The largest triangle is to represent fire, or the raising of the temperature, the small triangle with the vertex facing down at the bottom, is to symbolize water, or the moisture in the substance being transmuted, and the small triangle at the top with the line through, is to represent the air, for temperature control, and the swirl in the center instead of symbolizing wind, represents the action of extracting moisture from the transmuted substance for the drying function.
, I hope you like it

While FMA was what got me started, all of my Arrays are using traditional Alchemy, and not the more simplified version in FMA.

Ahh, i understand. My euro class ruined traditional alchemy for me forever. Chemistry didnt help either. *sigh*

I say "traditional" but I really mean its just more rooted in science, and uses more common symbols. FMA invents a lot of hooplah and symbols to make things flow easier with the story. Actual TRADITIONAL Alchemy is just ancient chemistry pointed in the wrong direction.

I never knew that. I am learning so much about alchemy.

I just sent you an invite to a group centred around Alchemy that I'm an admin in. The Founder has some good tutorials if you want to learn more about Alchemy, and I can offer some basic lessons on my own style of doing things.

Not bad for an original circle. I like the design. ^^

You know all my other circles are originals right?

So, it works much like that Fire/Ice/Lightning one that I made, except these arrays can transmute any substance as opposed to only hydrogen/carbon/nitrogen/oxygen.

Sort of, but this merely raises and lowers the temperature of the substance being transmuted.
