Description
If you happen to take shots at jazz concerts (and not only jazz) you know that taking pics is not easy: there are many behavior related and techical issues you have to take in account. And so often the quality of the pics is so mean that you are strongly tempted to throw them away. This tutorial deals with black and white conversion, sharpening, exposure correction and digital noise: it will show you that you can do so much to improve your shots and how easy it is.
Click on the "download" icon to get the tutorial, a 1.6 MB PDF file.
As usual, comments and feedback are very welcome.

really interesting..
but this can only be applied to jazz music, in my humble opinion..
during a rock concert you have different problems.. however it was quite useful! ^^

yes it is clearly jazz-oriented. i have no big experience with rock concerts, but i'd say that the major problem there should be fast-changing lighting and fast moving subjects. thank you for your appreciation

I figured I got my copy of photoshop for free
.. although I am considering paying the upgrade fee to get the latest version, since it has some built in HDR stuff, and that might be fun
