now you too can enjoy a "Trading card" so to speak of everyone's favorite stuttering madman here playing the role of Dr. Jekyll. The brushes I forget where I got but if someone wants them or knows who made them I'll give them credit. as for the Polka song... well... if you've seen the old black and white Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde movie, you'll get that joke.
this was me playing with a new shading style, inspired by *hibbary and that wonderful new piece she did for our art trade ^^ this is one in a series of virtual trading cards I will be making of Newt in his various incarnations ^_^ I might go back and put in character information to compare with other versions of him, but I'll just put that here:version of Newt: Dr. Jekyll (Newton Jekyll)
Age: 35 ((appears around fifty or so from over illness)
Bad Habbits: Excessive Drinking (Mostly to drown out Raven telling him what a terrible person he is)
Personality: Standard shy stuttering Newt afraid of his own shadow
Raven: Still the split personality, but this time in the form of a beastly Hyde in the spirits of LXG

I always found it weird as a kid that the Ninja Turtle pizzas always looked so damn good, even though the toppings would be things like.... sardines, jellybeans, popcorn and crackers, or something.
Newt is extra nifty. He looks/reminds me of my partner Alastair in the Jekyll one (black hair and glasses........) The Raven card kicks arse too

when you walk into a chemistry class room for the first time and the walls and celing are covered with holes and burn marks and the floor and desks look like they were eaten in some spots.... well would you trust the teacher to teach you the right things?

Omigod you soooooo totally have to. I haven't actually seen the movie or the musical, but the book is fabulous. If you liked Jekyll and Hyde, you'll like Les Mis... as long as you know which parts to skip (Victor Hugo's a tad... er... long winded.
