Description
A Luna class starship warps on its way through the glorious backgrounds of the cosmos. This is a slight improvement on my original piece from years ago.The U.S.S. Titan - an original design by Sean Tourangeau, winner of the contest for the Luna class starship for the Riker novels.
This is a physical model, masked out by hand in PowerPoint, hand lighted, and composited into my Lightwave animated starfield using techniques similar to traditional effects in homage of the original special effects used on the shows before 3D animation.
