First off. This is my first tutorial ever.2nd - I didn't realize until I was close to finishing the tutorial, that Silver's other quill just looks too out of place.
But for the sake of the tutorial itself... I didn't change that. That change will be made in Part 2.
It's damn wordy. I advise you read it through first before putting it to use. I tried to make it as easy to understand as possible. So those that are super-advanced in Photoshop CS or higher...don't bug me.
For those that do use this tutorial at all or find it useful, please by all means fave it.If you have any recommendations on how future tutorials can be set up, please give me the advise. I need all the help I can get.
My fingers are almost frozen...and I'm going to bed.

You could try, but my guess is that would entail knowing your colors for the right look of shading and such.

I do pixel art since I don't have a scanner or tablet but it's the pen tool. Trust me, I know my colors very well...

This would work so much easier fr me if I could find a way to work the Convert Point right
Got any tips I can use for this? It keeps going floppy and uneven...

Last I checked, when you click n drag with the Convert Point tool, you get a couple arms to go with that. Try playing with those or, if you're goin' for a clean arc, hold shift when you click and drag with the same tool on the point.

i have NO EFFING idea how to do the 'fill in the blanks' part... every time i click the fill button nothing happens...

Well, try and make sure of the following when you're trying to fill in your pen path(s):
I can't recall too well, but in the newer versions of Photoshop you can hide a layer and still work on the layer despite it's hidden.
