Description
A little something I've been working on in between commissions, work, and school, to help me relax.
I haven't drawn Zoisite in a very long time, and I've missed drawing him
. I also wanted to expand my horizons a little, and tried to draw an animal behind him. WHY DID I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA WHY
Anyways! Thus this idea came to be, that I would draw Zoisite with a bird that I figured represented him the best. To me Zoisite screams fire, mostly due to his fiery temper and uncontrollable fits of control and jealousy. I immediately thought of a phoenix (the only bird that I could think of that reminded me of fire) but then I rapidly realized that phoenix are not real (poo), so instead I decided to draw a fiery orange peacock instead. I think a peacock would suit Zoisite as well.
I'm hoping to have time to do the other Shitennou with their bird or animal counterparts, but those are always infamous last words.

Thank you!! I was thinking of later adding some more textures and symbols, so they could also appear like "house coats" - like the ones from Harry Potter, or Game of Thrones. But it might be a little too much, so I might play around with it after I' m done Nephrite and Jadeite.

I always thought it was weird that Zoisite's a boy...I grew up watching the dubs, so he was always a girl. Then I read the Mangas, and my brain exploded.

I grew up watching the dubs too, and in some ways, I still really love the dub series, especially Zoycite. She's always been a really awesome badass type of female villian, and I loved the concept of her being in love with Malachite (evil people who can love each other and team up? Wow!)
In the manga it makes my brain explode more knowing Zoisite is a boy [i]and[/i] still crossdresses frequently as a girl.

Well, I have a similar problem...too many work to do and too little time for KunZoi fanfictions... I really want to write more for KunZoi in both English and Chinese, my brain is almost exploding with so many ideas in it...

I'm now writing a fanfiction set in the background of Elysium, Zoisite, Nephrite and Jadeite are all Endymion's cousins, while Kunzite is his older brother. However Kunzite was turned into a Snow Wolf by Beryl's black magic and abandoned into the forest by the magician, so the others don't even know him~
Zoisite was the youngest boy and was lack of physical power, his parents didn't allow him to learn fighting. Yet one day he saved a wounded Snow Wolf, kept it as his pet and from then on he had a teacher in his dream, who had silky silver hair and silver eyes...
Such an idea reminds me of both the fairy tale "Beauty and Beast" and the opera "The Phantom of the Opera"~ I'm working hard and the story won't be long, yet still it will take me a long time since I hardly have time with it...
And if my fanfictions could give you some more ideas of drawing, that would be my honer~ ^^

A long time ago I thought to write a story that was a little like yours, except Kunzite was a big dragon that lived in a cave and Zoisite was supposed to go slay it for his village, but he ended up falling in love with it instead. LOL.
If you write this, I will most definitely draw it.
