Description
Ever since I've seen 's contest theme "Superheroes", a Marvelized/DC Western Superhero version of Sailor Moon has been constantly drifting on my mind. Initially I created a rough idea with Crescent Beam Warrior, which was a marvelized Sailor Venus:After I thought on it some more though, I ultimately came up with this design for Sailor Moon. I wanted something a little more mature for her, and I didn't want to keep all of her iconic colors for fear it would be too busy and unoriginal. So, I decided to give her a very white outfit, as though she were a shadowy extension of the moon!
It's a lot of fun to imagine what Sailor Moon would've been like if it had been drawn or written with a Batman sort of twist, or even a Spiderman twist. In my head I keep on thinking of a Micheal Bay Transformer version, with lots of action and amazing cgi graphics, with a darker storyline complete with war and military experiments. I think Westernized Sailor Moon, with its own twists, can be extremely interesting in its own way. For any of those who have thought similiarily (or not), I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments too!
Potential thought: If I were to create a fancomic based on this concept, would anyone like to read it?
Anyways, please enjoy my Western take on a wonderful anime! Once again, any concrit and comments / feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I am humbly asking your permission to use this version of Sailor Moon in a drawing (that a professional comic artist would draw for me) that would feature me in this outfit as this version of Sailor Moon. If you're not cool with that, I totally understand, I just love this so much, I would love to see myself drawn this way! <3 <3 <3 <3Β

This is awesome! Super Soldier Sailor Moon reminds me of Moon Knight from Marvel. But to be honest, I don't really know a lot about Moon Knight. I really like what you have here. It's very original. Your decision not to go with the original color scheme makes it more so. I always thought that Sailor Moon kinda had a Spider-Man twist to it. A teenager becoming a superhero and fighting bad guys while juggling responsibilities, wants/desires and other teenage stuff. It's just that Usagi didn't have to face the death of a loved-one to learn that with great power there must also come great responsibility.
If you ever think about making a westernized Sailor Moon comic or anything, I think it would Β awesomely kick ass!

I love the concept of a full bodysuit. Up until now, I felt only X-men's Storm and Rogue could pull off a full coverage outfit. Your version of Sailor Moon cuts a very dashing figure. Lovely!

tbh I often thought that sailor moon has already a very dark story line ^^" and one of the early episodes where she had a "twin" sailor moon, this twin behaved alot like a normal super hero without those special abilities like she had O.o more like batman

Sailor Moon, esp in the beginning, definitely had some creepy elements to it. It got creepy too towards the ends of the series as well when everyone started maturing more. I don't quite recall the "twin" (Unless you're talking about "Sailor Zoisite" LOL), but I always thought Sailor Moon could definitely have that dark super hero batman feel to it
