Description
Replacement icons for Adium. Because the default ones could use an update.--Consider using with the iDium mod (public beta).
Note: The Safari and iTunes icons cannot be changed.
Most of these icons are part of Project Icons .

Those icons are amazing! You should contribute to the Adium Project with this icons, just contact them. They constantly need more icons.

I originally planned to go with no duck in the v1.1 general prefs icon too. I think it looks better like this though.

also, the advanced just doesnt fit in with the crispness of the other icons :s im guessing its the system default one you used there?

Yes. It's also bigger than the rest of the icons.
I've decided to use it anyway because pretty much every application I have uses the gear for advanced properties. I'll probably redesign it so it's sharper but not substantially different than how it is now.

Actually, it's based off of the Buzz! icon in the Windows version of Yahoo! Messenger. I think it fits, because most IM apps shake the window when you get a notification.

I've never seen that icon before, especially if it's new in Office 2011. I just drew an irregular NEW! badge. The colors and style are the same as the Get Info/Inspector icon used in many Mac OS X apps.

Good graphics and style but for me icons looks too generic. Original icons outdated but most of it are looks original and funny metaphors. In your set some of the icons misleading user.
File Transfer, Events and Appearance looking good but lost meaning. Too early to replace default theme. Anyway, good job on graphics clear and vibrant.

I was unsure about some of the icons myself, especially about events and appearance. This is why I originally put up a preview only. I'll probably update them later. I'm happy with the transfers icon, because sending is pretty much the only thing you can do with files over IM.
I didn't want icons that look too different than the standard Mac OS X icons. I also wanted to get rid of all the ducks.

I clearly understand your position. But Adium is a duck and that's duckalicious 
Sorry for my criticism but i try to be objective. Any designer needs an objective comments and critiques to grow and improve.

Certainly! I agree that removing all of the ducks wasn't the best idea, this is why I added some back in the latest update, however I still think that there could be a bit fewer ducks in the Preferences window than there are by default.
I appreciate criticism and suggestions, because I can't always get it right the first times, and it helps me improve things in ways I probably wouldn't figure out on my own.

The easiest way would be to open a new ticket and attaching a demo image.
The ticket is closed, because someone made additional icons that were required, but they look terrible.

I posted link to your deviantart page to developers' mailing list asking them to contact you if they are interested. I'll keep you posted if they reply via the list.

I believe one of the Adium devs has commented here. Also, in the mailing list they said that although icons are nice, they wouldn't blend with current icons, and devs would need you to iterate over them if they were to go for total icon replacement. So if you want to go that way, I suggest you subscribe to mailing list at [link] and talk to them directly.
