For the size limit you had to work with, you were able to share more through this limited space using the color and form that you are most familiar with..the composition you have used through the placement of your subject and with her environment works nicely with the format of this frame here. Thank YOU for being so descriptive in your critique. I really wish that I could post the other 6 as they are finished but the gallery prefers that they are seen for the first time on opening night. Fantastic, as per usual.
I think it'd be hard to give up my artwork. With photography, it's easy. But I think giving up paintings would be hard.

Yes and no. It can be hard, like letting go of a piece of yourself, but to know that someone wants it and wants to have it near them is an amazing feeling. Every time I sell a piece it is excitement and sadness all wrapped up into one, but I would rather the art be spread about the world than to just hang on the walls in my house for only a few to see.

Interesting comparison between the watercolors and acrylics, because I actually painted with watercolors before painting with acrylics. I guess I just carried the style over a bit. Thanks for the compliments.
