In order to keep my traditional drawing skills alive I drew the portrait of a Monolophosaurus jiangi, because I felt inspired by a picture on FB. Well, on the back of its neck you can spot a Mohawk like tuft of simple feathers, which reminds me somehow on Zebras with their erect mane.
The background texture is from this texture pack from Sirius-sdz

The texture on this is really amazing and lovely. 
I suppose my only critique is that the "mohawk" looks rather out of place considering the rest of the Monolophosaurus is scaled. I still like it though. I'm glad you drew a Monolophosaurus, because hardly anyone draws them.

Well, I felt the need to put something on its neck and after I had drawn that "mohawk-feather-thingy" it left me with the feeling, that it wasn't the best idea. Sure, they are rarely drawn by any artists here, so I find only one in a while. The one , that inspired me to draw a Monolophosaurus I found on a bookmarked FB site .Β
