Description
Some color and drawing study for myself to practice light, shape and environments.
I introduce to you the following dinosaur species, beginning with the top row in a left to right order.
#1 Torvosaurus (gurneyi) in a forest
#2 Torvosaurus (tanneri) and Spinosaurus (aegyptiacus) enjoying a cloudless sky
#3 Spinosaurus (aegyptiacus) with the color scheme of the Nile Crocodile on a rainy day
#4 Torvosaurus (tanneri) at a moon lit night
#5 Torvosaurus (gurneyi) listening to its favorite song
#6 Ceratosaurus (dentisulcatus) in a forest
#7 Ceratosaurus (nasicornis) overlooking its territory at dusk
It was kinda fun to draw these fellows and painting the environments with help of references.

Some of the backgrounds were based on photos I took recently, so this helped to cope with the light settings instead of attempting to use the pure imagination. Well, they were also useful aside of the aspect of practice to get tired in order to sleep.
