Hey, look, it's some asshole I've been meaning to draw for some time.

A good handful of my Brainstorm Entourage may recognize the name "Luis Lotshot" but none have ever seen a sketch of him until now. Namely because I never sketched him until now. Luis is a...specific character I've been working on for a while. He was originally suppose to debut in that origin story I wanted to do way back when, as he was the only character in that story that was specifically made for that story. If you're waiting for me to do some weird analogy or crazy description of what he is, this is it:

Luis is the closest thing we're ever gonna get to an evil clone of Ruben. Because their personalities are meant to be mirrored of each other.

Another description would be to say that Luis would think of himself as a Gaston-ish character: a smug, arrogant, womanizing jackass that manages to be loved and admired by everyone around him.

In reality, he's more like Johnny Bravo: pretty much the same thing, minus the "admired by everyone" thing. And whenever he tries his moves on a woman, he gets turned down. Hard.

In this picture alone, we see Luis back when he was a cadet for C.A.S.E., basically telling Savannah he'll let her go if he could get a one night stance with her, only for Savannah to act accordingly: freezing him in a cluster of magical crystals (which she can apparently do).

And that's another thing: Luis was meant to be a C.A.S.E. agent but went into the job with the wrong mentality. You know that one scene from Hercules when Zeus tells his son that there's a difference between being a hero and being a celebrity?

Not only does Luis not understand that difference, he doesn't care. Because Luis is the kind of person who wants to be seen as admirable solely because of what it'll do for his popularity. I've seen people like this, I've talked about people like this and it's one of my least favorite traits in people. This mentality lead to Luis being someone who brags about how tough he is when he's trying to pick up a woman, but also skipped or slept through a lot of the actual training that comes with being a C.A.S.E. agent because he didn't care in the long run.

Thus leading to the last straw that lead to Omayra firing him: Luis running away from an emergency and abandoning people who needed his help. Which was suppose to be a scenario that would lead to Ruben; before even becoming a CASE agent, step in to save the day.

Abandoned and bitter at the world, Luis then went to work for S.C.H.E.M.E. as Shada Gloom's right hand man. And he wants to help her take down Ruben Falcon because, as part of this sketch dump could illustrate, he's convinced that Ruben stole the life that he wanted: being a famous hero with a horde of fangirls around him.

Despite the fact that Ruben isn't even 100% comfortable with being a famous person because Ruben's a caricature of myself and I sure as hell ain't comparable with the aspect of fame. I even got a little taste of fame in high school when I was one of the popular kids, thanks to my "singing career" (sarcastic air quotes) and I was kinda uncomfortable with it after a while.

As a S.C.H.E.M.E. agent, Luis has a robotic glove that works a lot like Shada Gloom's robotic arm. I haven't decided what kind of powers it has yet, but I drew it with some generic lightning.

Like I said, Luis is a character that's been sitting in the waiting room that is my brain for a looooong time. I think I almost abandoned him when I dumped the idea of the origin story, because Luis was meant to be one of the secondary antagonists in that story, along with a certain gang of vilainesses that some of my oldest friends and watchers may just remember...
