Todays Victim: Craig McCracken... I have always been a fan of Craigs work, Fosters, 2 stupid dogs,Powerpuff girls they were the kind of shows that made it worth while to wake up at the ass crack of dawn and plop in front of the TV with a bowl of frosted flakes. Craig is another artist I had the pleasure of meeting at Comic Con, He hung around after the FhfiF panel and chatted with me for a bit about the biz and was kind enough to draw Butter cup for me in my sketchbook. he was real down to earth and over all awesome to encounter.

About the picture: This is another one of those styles thats very clean cut- something I am not proficient in. I tried to cover a bunch of spans in Craigs work for this, Candy is kind of a combination of Ms Bellum, Sedusa and teenage powerpuff girl and Mack is about 40% gang green gang and 60% no neck joe hat guy. I tried to stay away from Fosters influence as much as possible, I have nothing against the show I just have something against Flash.

the first 3 I posted of my style challenge I did them all the the same day, in the span of 4 hours... this one actually took me 3 days to complete. becuase I was determined to get it right. So longest time spent on a challenge, but I hope it paid off and I did the style Justice. you guys are the judges.

YOU MET CRAIG McCRACKEN?! Oh, no fair! DX I wanna meet him, too! I've always adored The Powerpuff Girls! Dang, I hope I get to meet him one day, too!
The pic is nifty too, of course! I think Mack came out the best in this one! It... suits him. Somehow. For this style. It's nifty how you were able to combine characters to make for a convincing style bend WITHOUT making them 100% puffed.

fer some reason I think he did translate well in this style..I didn't draw then as power puff girls becuase--they aren't power puff girls. XD I tried to make them look as much as normal citizens of towns ville as possible.

they are so fun to try new things and see what you get. I'm gonna be so sad when the challenge is over XD I'll prolly just keep finding new artist whose style I can rape.

Ooo this is my favorite style you've done so far! I have always been a fan of Craig McCraken, and I was so happy to hear that he has joined dA. Powerpuff Girl was one of my favorite shows- and still is. I am SOOO jealous of you for meeting him and having him draw you Buttercup. She is my favorite character as well!

I really LOVE Candy in this style. She has the cool PPG eye's and the small chests with the big hips. Very Craig. I like Mack's square antomy and his long legs. It reminds a lot of the show. I wish I still had the videos of it I miss that show!

Anyways, you did a splended job on this style. Have you thought about showing it to Craig since he has a account on here? I'm sure that he would really appercaite the work and effort you put into this. Overall great job! I can't wait to see more styles from you!

I always liked the thick black outlines and simplicity of McCracken's work. The way he draws women like Sedusa reminds me a bit of Butch Hartman's stuff.

I'd have to say that this is my favorite out of the challenge drawings you've posted thus far. It's - from what I can tell - the most accurate to the original style, too. Especially looking at Candy there, I could very easily tell that it's the PPG style.
