9 of 20 for my style benders challenge - [link]are you sick of these yet!? great! because I've got 11 more to go! I'll try not to post them all consecutively for 2 reasons one not to bore ya'll to tears and the other reason is so that I don't forget how to draw my own way- seriously it feels like forever. BUT today's Victim art wise is another production company. SPUMCO! one of my favorites and one I was looking oober forward to doing since I love , LOVE this kind of flowy, unstable style of cartooning. it's so....zany but so alive at the same time! for those of you not familiar with spumco just think of John K 's ren & stimpy, the ripping friends, boo boo runs wild , Katie Rice ,etc.
about the picture: I can just flail about spumco all day. it's always had that off / gross charm about it.. kinda like garbage pail kids. but for this I tried to stuck Candy and Mack with who would do them more Justice, John K's work inspired Mack and Katie Rice's fluid "cute girls" inspired Candy. Mack was particularity hard to do since I don't think that John K has ever drawn a man who wasn't MANLY..like...eating trucks made out of trucks manly...so I had like zero help with him but I made due ( his head is inspired mostly by woman's features....which makes me giggle more then it should)
I'm sure most people are going to look at this and go "ew" eaither because of how I drew it or because of the style itself, it's not for everyone but I love it and had a blast mimicking it and I hope you all enjoy it weather you think I nailed it or if you think I should go back to the drawing board.
don't judge me the bible says not too! ( unless it's for this style... feel free to totally judge there

Aw man, I love me some Spumco, especially done with your characters! I really love how you drew Candy. You really captured how the girls look in the series, very big eyes, butts and skinny limbs. I think you did Mack good too, I really just watched Ren and Stimpy so I don't really know how they look xD
But great job with this! I am excited to see the rest of the styles you will do. Great job on John K.'s style Candy!!

Anyways this totally fucking rocks. You know how much I LOVE this style and I ENVY YOU practically perfecting it. I know what I want for my pins. DRAW SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR ME. DO IT. Lmfao Candy's pose is ridiculous WTF. This is perfect, and it makes me want to try it out. Feet and hands are my favourite part <3

With all the different challenges you take on, Candy you really are an insperation. XD I wish I had your motivation.
As for the style fhjakfhdlsfh I LOVE this style its so toony and fluid. Perhaps fluid is a strange word, but it's what I think of. You captured it well!!

I love how noodly the Spumco style is. It's neat how Candy and Mack's poses are so full of action, even though they're most likely just standing still. Candy's flowery eyes are so cute and so are her almost nonexistent feet.

but if I hide those then no one will learn that things like that are not okay to say to the artist. we wanna hear what you THINK of our art, how it makes you feel- not how it reminds you of something / someone else.

i read that its the 9th out of 20 pictures in a series, youre going to skip back and forth between the series and your actual drawing styles, to keep people not bored and to keep your current skill in drawing your own way. i also saw that you like this style of art because it looks crazy, zany, unstable etc.
