i use cinema4d for all my 3d stuff. im still teaching myself things so i like to branch out in various directions to see what the app can do

Oh, well that's cool. Cinema4d is also available for windows or linux? I could get mac [panther] running on my computer but it'd be such a pain to do all the hacking... blender is pretty easy to learn [if you like it], but povray... well, it can make more realistic renders [waaaay more] but I found it so difficult I wouldn't bother learning.

theres a cinema4d for windoze, im not entirely sure about linux tho. povray is good, i had a stint on that a few years back. i can do more overall with c4d tho, as well as realistic pics like the one you linked, so ive stuck with c4d instead.

well, as i said, it was just a time killer. i didnt have enough time to do a whole entire mario and, even if i did, i doubt it would have come out well. im no good at characters hehe.
