Very nicely done. The color looks great and it's pretty amazing that most of the product is edible too.
Congrats on the DD!

molasses is a favorite at my old school's drama club, never heard anyone use cocoa powder though. At any rate, congrats on the DD

what brilliance it takes to reverse a question.... my my
Why not? Theres plenty of gore already in the world, we don't need any more...
Art is suppose to "enhance" society... what a disgusting and pathetic society we would have if everyone chose this as a medium.

"There's plenty of gore already in the world, we don't need any more..."
In response: In the eye of the beholder... Secondly I shouldn't have to explain the reasons for creating my art, or creating a tutorial for curious people who will dress up on Halloween and express themselves creatively however they so choose. This tutorial is not for me, it is for people who may enjoy or even use it for their own expressive/creative nature. It may not particularly be about gore...but the message behind such things.
"Art is suppose to 'enhance' society"
In response: Art is what YOU make of it. Art is freedom. Art is creativity. Art is emotional. Art is expressive, etc. This particular society is about art.
I'm sorry if a tutorial, made for others use, offends you. This is for a community of creative individuals with all different likes and dislikes.
I appreciate that you have a strong opinion. Having an opinion is more important than having none at all.

Well, thankyou for your civilized response and explanation. I certainly can't argue that its not art for anything can be. My pathetic rant wasn't exactly against this tutorial in particular but the gore artwork in general which seems to becoming increasingly popular on DA for some reason.
Again, what good can come from such art? Yes, its expressive, creative, and emotional but that doesn't necessarily mean good. Any crime on the planet could fit such categories and be considered "art". That doesn't necessarily mean we should promote it.

I appreciate and understand your opinion! But I look at it in a different light. I don't have a problem with gore and there are certain aspects about it that I enjoy. Just my own personal opinion.

On Halloween I usually use your recipe but with chocolate sauce instead of powder (a bit MORE sticky lol) and it makes a very dark red. Last year i couldn't find any but used chocolate pudding power instead and it make a nice consistency for my Zombie outfit but those clothes will never be the same.

Ooh, this'll be very useful for my friend. XD
'cause yesterday she went to the butcher's to get some real blood for April Fool's Day today, but apparently they didn't have any. And the fake blood you've shown here is a GREAT alternative to using animal blood. XD
I better tell my friend about this. XP
