Description

Many people would consider this to be the worst James Bond movie ever despite the fact that Rami Malek isn't in it, but I don't think that's entirely fare. The plot is a bit flat and Roger Moore isn't himself in this do to his age, but after seeing the Bond Geeks video on what if Timothy Dalton was James Bond throw the entire 80's,🔎 What If Timothy Dalton Was James Bond For The 80's - YouTube   I then thought about how A view to a Kill could have made a great starting point for a new Bond.

1: Replace Roger Moore with Timothy Dalton

This is the main thing that people love to complain about and there for, it's the first thing I changed. The plot to A View to a Kill is really generic when compared to some of the other movie but it may have been off settled if it was decided solely to introduce a new Bond. Think about it, if you’re going to introduce Dalton's Bond to audiences that are too use to Moore then what to start him off with a Roger Moore style Bond movie to ease audiences in to this new era before going all dark and realistic. It's kind of like how Tom Baker's first story in Doctor Who was like a Jon Pertwee adventure with a new Doctor, it help integrate the old style with the new style

2: Alter Max Zorin's evil plan

In the first draft of A View to a Kill, Max Zorin's plan involved pulling Halley's Comet down to earth in order to destroy Silicon Valley, but this was changed to him filling a really big mine shaft with explosive in order to create and earthquake and sun amie. The last one was fun and the most plausible but it's still a bit unbelievably, Max Zorin as a villain while well-acted by Christopher Walken but isn't very well defined as a businessman or tech mogul. So, I think a better way of handling this character is the same way the handled Gustav Graves's character in Die another Day, as someone with extreme wealth who can do whatever who want and has great control over everyone who works for him, as for his evil plan, that's where the next one comes in.

3: Borrow elements from the book "Moonraker"

It's weird that no-one has use any of the unused elements from the book of Moonraker considering there so unsend with using as much Ian Fleming material as possible and Moonraker has a hole heap of stuff that no-one has touched in 68 years. I thought of how Zorin's plan could be less stupid and silly and then I remembered the plot of the book Moonraker and thought that would work a lot better. So in this version of A View To a Kill, Max Zorin is selling his microchips to the military, that will reprogram all the three technology, giving him control of all there hi-tech weaponry, including there nuclear missiles. This is where the Moonraker part come in, just use Hugo Drax's plan from that book but instead of Hugo Drax it's Max Zorin and instead of using the missile to destroy London, it's to destroy Silicon Valley. But you can also use some of the other elements from that book as well to make the plot a lot stronger.

4: Replace Stacey Sutton with Dr. Gala Brand

This is another element from Moonraker I borrowed for this film, this character was going to be in Die Another Day but was later re-named Miranda Frost. Hear, Gala Brand is the designer of all of the tech at Zorin Industries, including the micro-chips that Max Zorin is using for his evil plan. Once she finds out that her inventions are being used for evil, she immediately teams up with Bond to help stop Zorin from destroying Silicon Valley.

5: Go into more of Max Zorin's backstory

The whole thing about Max Zorin being the product of Nazi experimentation is weird but unfortunately, true to history. This is not only a good way of make Max Zorin abit more sympathetic but also reminding people of the tragedies of the holocaust. It could be a way of going into more detail about his relationship with Dr. Carl Mortner and how he is a father figure to Zorin. So her, stablish that Mortner was working for Heinrich Himmler and ran a concentration camp and after the war ended, he took pity on Max and tuck him under his wing. This wouldn’t underplay his evil skeem, this would elevate his charter to make him one of the best Bond villains along with Auric Goldfinger and Francisco Scaramanga.
