Description
In 2258, almost all the Ares-Class starship where outfitted with the technology that was developed for the Constitution-Class. In the words of Captain Robert April "However the Ares-Class had proven itself in war, now it was time to be used in peace."Before the development of the Miranda-Class, the Ares found a new life as a supplemental class for the new Constitutions. Her role was now space exploration, scientific duties and border patrol. With many of the veteran Captain's now serving as Flag Officer's with in Starfleet, a new generation of explorers where waiting for there first taste at deep space most of them took the refitted Ares-Class vessels as there first commands.
