Description
(In the Langston Universe)Stardate 2356.2, News had reached Starfleet Command that the U.S.S. Enterprise-A was lost due to an unknown cause that triggered a warp-core breach. Although Captain Castillo and his crew survived, the price was that Lt. Commander Ian Andrew Troi-who served as Chef Engineer-had perished while trying to eject the anti-matter containment modules. After spending days in escape pods and shuttlecrafts, the crew of the Enterprise-A where rescued by the U.S.S. Discovery and the U.S.S. Al-Battani. Captain Castillo was summoned by a board of inquiry lead by Admiral Norah Satie, which was part of standard procedure when a starship is lost. Although no fault was found on any one part, Captain Castillo decided to retire from active duty and took up a professorship at Starfleet Academy. A period of the morning was observed and a memorial service was held at the Presidio of San Francisco, but that didn't stop a team from Utopia Planetia at Mars Colony to begin developing a more advanced starship. The Development team was lead by Captain Thomas Halloway, with Supervisory Officer Commander Orfil Quinteros and the designers and development team where Dr. Leah Brahms, Dr. Xin Ra-Havreii, Lt. Commander Sarah McDougall, Lt. Commander Michael Argyle, Lieutenant Charles Logan, Lieutenant Leland Lynch, Lieutenant J.G. Benjamin Sisco, Lieutenant J.G. Nara and Lieutenant J.G. Daniel Qwan.
Β Many of the ship's systems where state of the art after the successes of the prototype test bed, U.S.S. Pegasus. In addition, she also employed an experimental ablative hull, twelve, type-VIII phaser arrays, has an arsenal of over four hundred class-VI photon torpedoes, eighty class-IV tri-cobalt torpedoes, and a duo-tronic isolinear computer core. Including saucer separation as a standard feature into this class of ship.
Β By Stardate 2358.9, the experimental U.S.S. Andromeda NX-61000 was launched from Earth Spacedock, after an almost two-year shakedown, Starfleet then began building an expanded run of the Andromeda-Class explorer. In 2363, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B was completed and launched from Utopia Planeita under the command of Fleet Captain Juan-Luc Picard for an extended 7-year mission of deep space exploration. As of 2364, only twelve of the Andromeda-Class vessels wherein service, while another at least twenty where under construction or development.

Oh, okay. Also the registry should be larger and more close together. Take the Enterprise-D for example
Something similar to your Enterprise-A
