Description
The Zeppelin-Class starship was designed purely as a freighter/transport vessel and is mostly used in Federation civilian services rather then Starfleet. The most noteworthy ship of this class was the S.S. White Star (BDR-57713, witch primarily made cargo and civilian transports from Risa, Starbase Earhart to Deep Space 9 and Bajor. In 2374-2376 during the Dominion War, Captain Robert Rollins was one of few freighter Captain's that was willing to bring supplies and transport Starfleet Personnel from Federation Space to DS9.
