Quick panorama from a couple of nights ago as the clouds were just starting to roll in and obscure my beloved stars. The thin high level cloud is scattering the light from some of the brighter stars, making them appear larger than normal.
Canon 5DMkII, 14mm, F/2.8, ISO 3200, 30 Seconds, 6 image panorama.

The stars are beautiful everywhere, but are best from a really dark location. The long exposure of the camera brings them out even more.
