All Rights Reserved.With a high chance of aurora following an X-class solar flare last week, I have spent the last two nights out under the stars. Sadly the aurora was not to be but on the plus side I took the opportunity to explore some new locations. Whilst I had one camera pointed south and taking continuous shots I wandered around with my other camera taking various images.
This is the Mt Pilot Fire Tower which is used during the warmer months in Australia to look for the first signs of bush fires.

I suppose that's one advantage living where you live. I My entire country is basically one massive mountain (Norway) so it is very difficult for me to get anywhere that far away from a city, while somewhere I can stay for the night.
