I guess this speaks for itself...
Some portraits I made in the years from 2001 'till... well... last month!
I hope this encourages people to create the things they like, whether it's drawn from reference images or just totally made up.
Sorry for the low quality. I can't post a high res version of this thing right now because my internet connection is terribly slow since last week. And my internet provider says they'll fix it within 2 weeks. Grrr!!!

hahaha wow when i look back to my drawings, i find i'm exactly the same, not thinking about shading or anything, proportions all over the place, outlining with no tones...and i am still getting better with every portrait
i'm prob at your 2005 stage but hopefully i'll be able to get to your standard!!!

man i want to know what happenedto you between 2004 and 2005 because that seems to be the time when something clicked and things went from being pretty dang awesome to jaw dropping amazing.

I feel like I improve just with the same time length, considering that I couldn't draw as good as I do now when I was younger. It's really amazing that you share your improvements to us. I wish I had the same courage... It's really encouraging...

wow this is really sorta inspiring to aspiring artists. i can see development in my artwork looking back but it always seems liek your never getting better until you look back on what you were drawing a few years or even months ago XD This just goes to prove you should stick at it ^^
