Getting back to basics, mixed with some knowledge

Setup:
Hand-made paper as the background along with Christmas lights just in front of that (this is good for bokeh ).
I used the Feerie perfume as a prop.
1x white polystyrene board on the top/left as a reflector
1x black polystyrene board on the right to absorb light, and add contrast.
1x standard desk lamp (tungsten bulb)
100mm Canon F2.8 macro lens
Daylight white balance (but edited to Flourescent in post-proecessing)
I used RAW to shoot this.
